Phil and Becky Dangel are entering their ninth season as CPL owners. They have been involved in the business world for many years; they both worked at Macy’s in Atlanta for almost twenty years. In 1995, they moved to Knoxville where Phil was the VP of Merchandising for Goody’s Family Clothing. More recently, they have opened and expanded The Shrimp Dock, a fresh seafood market and restaurant with three locations in the Knoxville area.

Both are active in their local town of Farragut, TN. Phil serves as a chairman of the town’s Economic Development Committee, a founding member of the Farragut Business Alliance and served on the board of Boy Scouts of America. Other interests include mentoring as a part of Knoxville S.C.O.R.E. and coaching Farragut Little League. Becky is an active member of her Church, currently volunteering for both Mobile Meals and the food pantry. She led the preschool board for many years. Phil and Becky have three sons, two daughters-in-law and two fantastic grandchildren all living in the southeast. Their youngest son, Boomer, was the Broadcaster and Media Director Intern during the Owls’ 2015 season.
