Forest City Owls Awarded Prestigious Coastal Plain League All-Star Game in July 2024
Forest City, NC — The Forest City Owls proudly announce their selection as the host city for the prestigious Coastal Plain League’s annual All-Star Game, set to take place on Monday night, July 8, 2024, at the renowned McNair Field. This exciting event will serve as the centerpiece of a weekend-long celebration, featuring an array of entertaining activities, including skills competitions, clinics, a home run derby, and other exciting events to be unveiled in due course.
Phil Dangel, Owner of the Owls, expressed his enthusiasm for this great opportunity. “We are extremely thrilled and deeply honored to showcase McNair Field and Rutherford County to all 15 team owners, along with scouts from every major league team,” stated Dangel. “This speaks volumes about the quality of our venue, our team, our coaches, and the warm hospitality of Forest City. We anticipate welcoming parents and players from across the Southeast to Rutherford County for the very first time. While the full schedule for the Owls’ 2024 season will be released in mid-October, there is no doubt that the All-Star Game will be a highlight.
