Admission Tickets
Admission tickets are available for purchase online through our website at www.forestcitybaseball.com Admission tickets may also be purchased in-person at the Forest City Owls office or at the box office at the stadium one hour before gametime. Ticket sales will stop at the top of the 8th inning (subject to change).
Bags
All bags are subject to search. NO backpacks are permitted. Diaper bags are permitted but will be subject to search.
Beer
Forest City Owls fans who consume beer are encouraged to drink responsibly. All beer sales require a picture ID as proof of age. You must be at least 21 years old to purchase beer. Beer is permitted anywhere in McNair Field, except the two family zones in front of the press box/suite. All beer sales will be discontinued in the middle of the 8th inning or middle of the 6th inning of the second game of a doubleheader. Sales may be discontinued earlier at the discretion of management. ONLY ONE BEER per ONE PERSON is to be served by Law.
Children
McNair Field was designed for fans of all ages. Please note that every child 4 years and older are required to have a game ticket to enter the stadium. Any child under the age of 4 years admitted without a ticket must share a seat with an accompanying adult. NO children under 12 are permitted without a parent or guardian. NO children under 16 years can leave McNair Field without a parent.
Concessions
Fans can purchase a variety of food and beverage items including hamburgers, hotdogs, candy, nachos, popcorn, soft drinks, and water.
Coolers
Coolers are NOT permitted in McNair Field
Dugouts
The Forest City Owls dugout is located on the first base side. The visitors’ dugout is located on the third base side. Please refrain from sitting or standing on the dugouts unless permitted by staff.
Evacuation
In the event of an evacuation, staff members will direct fans to the nearest gate to exit McNair Field.
Fan Code of Conduct
We are confident Forest City Owls fans top the league in their enthusiasm, team support, hospitality and sportsmanship. Our image is shaped not only by our players, coaches and employees, but by our fans as well. Our goal is to promote a high-energy environment to lend support to our team, while maintaining a wholesome, family-oriented atmosphere by defining certain acts or types of behavior that are unacceptable. Irresponsible conduct will NOT be tolerated at McNair Field. Unruly patrons will be subject to ejection, arrest and possible loss of ticket privileges. This policy applies to all employees of the Forest City Owls, stadium visitors and ticketed patrons.
First Aid
In the event of a medical emergency, please notify one of the staff members or security officers at McNair Field. There are first-aid kits available at the box office, as well as the 1st base concession stand.
Folding Chairs
Folding chairs are NOT permitted in McNair Field.
Foul Balls
Fans are allowed to keep one foul ball per game. A foul ball can be turned into the Souvenir Stand for a free hotdog voucher. Fans are NOT permitted to exit McNair Field to retrieve any foul balls and return to the stadium without purchasing a new game ticket.
Fun Zone (Cash Only)
The bounce house (when in use) requires tickets or wristbands to play. Tickets can be purchased for $1.00 each or a Wristband for UNLIMITED PLAY during the game can be purchased for $5.00 each. One ticket is good for 5 minutes in the bounce house. NO children over the age of 12 permitted in the bounce house. Only 4 children are permitted in the bounce house at a time.
The Plinko game requires tickets to play. Tickets can be purchased for $1.00 each. One ticket is good for 1 Plinko disc. Prizes may be awarded for Plinko.
Cornhole boards are FREE to use during game.
Chalk is FREE to use during game. DO NOT remove chalk from fun zone area.
Gates
There are three gates:
- Main Gate - located in the middle near the ticket booth
- Front Gate - located near the front of the parking lot (will be unlocked during game for emergencies and will be open to exit post-game).
- Back Gate - located near the back of the parking lot (will be open to exit post-game).
The main gate is the only one used for entry (unless otherwise communicated).
Guest Relations
As a convenience to our guests, the information booth is located at our Souvenir Stand.
Guests with Disabilities
We have seats available to accommodate a wheelchair, or Rollator type of device, with accompanying companion box seats. Please inquire when purchasing tickets. Aisles must be kept clear of all types of walkers. They may be stored behind grandstand.
In-Stadium Sales (Cash Only)
In stadium sales includes ice cream, soda, water and other packaged items (on select nights). Special promotional activities may be offered on select nights.
Lost and Found
Please stop at the information booth located at the souvenir stand to inquire about lost items. Or call the office the next day to inquire about lost items. The office phone number is 828-245-0000.
Lost Children
Parents/guardians reporting or inquiring about lost children should contact the nearest staff member or security officer. That person will immediately contact the PA Announcer with all important information about the child. The PA Announcer will make an announcement as quickly as possible. If a staff member or security officer finds a lost child, the child will be taken to the information booth located at the Souvenir Stand. The staff member at the Souvenir Stand will stay with the child until the parents/guardians are located.
Noise Makers
Horns, bells, whistles and other noise makers are permitted in McNair Field. Please be considerate of other fans.
Outside Food
NO outside food or drinks are permitted in McNair Field. The exception is for diabetic and infant needs. Empty popcorn buckets, previously purchased, are permitted.
Programs
Programs are FREE and available at the main gate upon entry. Only available while supplies last.
Prohibited Items
To ensure that all fans have a safe and enjoyable visit to McNair Field, the following items are NOT permitted in the stadium:
- Explosives
- Fireworks
- Illegal drugs
- Weapons of any kind and size, including guns, knives, scissors and those carried with a permit
- Other items that in the judgment of stadium management pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other patrons
Prohibited items that are discovered during security inspections at the stadium entrances must be either returned to the owner's vehicle or discarded. Unlawful items that are discovered during security inspections are subject to confiscation, and the person in possession of those items may be denied entrance into the stadium and is subject to arrest. Any prohibited item discovered inside the stadium is subject to confiscation.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located on the first base and third base sides of McNair Field behind the concession stands.
Roster/Stat Sheets
Roster/stat sheets are FREE and available at the main gate upon entry. Only available while supplies last.
Seating
There are four seating areas: general admission, box seats, perch seats, pub tables. General admission seats are silver bench style seating, grass berms or picnic tables. Box seats are the green stadium style seating. Sections are odd on the first base side and even on the third base side.
Service Animals
Only service dogs for guests with disabilities are permitted in McNair Field.
Smoking
McNair Field is a tobacco free venue. Smoking is prohibited inside all areas of the stadium including concourses, seating areas, suite, and bathrooms. This includes but is NOT limited to cigarettes, vapor cigarettes, chewing tobacco and electronic cigarettes. Spit bottles are prohibited. Smoking is permitted outside the main gate at McNair Field only. Fans may exit the stadium ONLY to smoke and may re-enter ONLY with their ticket dated for that night’s game.
Souvenirs
The Souvenir stand is located behind the Box Office. Fans can purchase a variety of merchandise including hats, shirts, logo baseballs, and mini-bats.
Strollers
Strollers are permitted in McNair Field but are NOT permitted in the seating bowl.
Weather
If a game is in progress and there is lightning in the area, there will be a 30-minute delay of game. Every lightning strike re-starts the 30-minute clock. If a game is called due to rain before 4 ½ innings have been completed, fans may exchange their tickets for another game. TICKETS WILL NEED TO BE STAMPED AT THE SOUVENIR STAND PRIOR TO EXITING MCNAIR FIELD.
